Norwood Heights Sale Tops $4.8 Million as Family Trust Transfers Dominate Gloucester Deed Filings
Gloucester recorded 15 property transfers between Aug. 7 and Sept. 5, but only four listed a sale price. Disclosed prices ranged from $700,000 to $4,805,000, with a median of $1,243,000 among those four. The month's top sale was 77 Norwood Heights, which sold for $4,805,000 to Chatham Harbor LLC. Ten of the 15 deeds involved a grantor and grantee with matching surnames or a transfer into a same-named trust, and none of those 10 disclosed a price, while four of the five remaining sales between unrelated parties did.
