Gloucester posts $1.3 million top sale as median holds near $860,000
Gloucester recorded 15 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12. Of those, five carried disclosed sale prices ranging from $299,000 to $1,300,000, with a median of $860,000. The month's top sale was 115 Leonard St. Lot A3 at $1,300,000, sold by Beatrice K. Nelson to Lois Goodell. Two more sales, on Leonard and Taylor streets, each closed at $860,000. Ten of the 15 recorded deeds, including several apparent trust and family transfers, carried no disclosed price, so the full scope of market activity cannot be assessed from price data alone this period.
